1 Week!!!!!

Email from 7/27
Hey Mom,
This week was good! We had a great time at Zone Conference! We learned a lot. I had to give my departing testimony, though, and that was scary! One: because there were a lot of people there and two: because that was my last zone conference!
That is crazy that Sam is turning 11 in a couple days! You are getting old!
That is awesome that Hancock will be back up there!
Are you lost right now... now that you aren't always busy with RS stuff? Haha! That is good though. Now y'all can move out to the country. And I will farm for you!
I am desperately needing the toothpaste! I am on the last little squeeze and I am broke so I can't go buy regular stuff.
Exciting story for the week: We had 9 investigators come to church! 2 of them are getting baptized in a little less than 2 weeks! Super Duper excited!
Well, hope y'all have a great week!
Love ya!
Elder Cade
P.S. We are in the Sub-20 days!
P.P.S. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!

Email from 8/3
Well, I am going to be short and sweet this week. You know me, always thinking ahead!
Monday was good. Taught the kids that are going to be baptized.
Tuesday, lots of service and lots of teaching!
Wednesday, I was a pallbearer and dedicated a grave for a funeral.
Thursday, had my last district meeting and then Jo Dee And Kodi got interviewed for their baptism and passed!
Friday, more service and we killed 3 rattlers!
Saturday, more service and caught this beautiful creature called a horny toad.
Sunday, had 12 investigators come to church!! And taught 13 lessons over all this week!
Have a nice week! See ya next week!
Love ya!

Wednesday, July 22, 2015

Mom,
This week went well! We didn't quite meet our lessons goal, but it was a busy week. We had a zone training, I went on exchanges to Many Farms, plus all our service hours.
Exciting little tidbit for the week: we went over to Virgie Tom's, the one who got baptized right before Mother's Day, and we asked her kids if they knew if they both wanted to be baptized yet and they said they did, but is was almost like "We have been waiting for you to ask!" So I am super excited about that! Well, it sounds like your week went well!
I was so excited to go to Many Farms! That was a blast!! I saw the Harveys! They have been through some rough times this last year, but they are just staying strong. Then I was able to go to their correlation meeting, and those elders are doing really well, especially since they have both been out less than 4 months!
So funny story: The 2nd counselor in our branch presidency has diabetes... well, the Priesthood lesson got dumped on him in the middle of Sunday School, but his pump was acting up, so he told me he was gonna run home and get it figured out so if I could just start the lesson then he would come finish it... Well, long story short, I ended up teaching the whole lesson and it was on marriage and I was like "What the heck! I dont know what to teach about on this!" so we just read out of the manual the whole time, haha!
I hate  snakes!!!! So we made sure to kill this one!
Well have a great week! Love ya!
Elder Cade
PS: Mom, PLEASE come pick me up in Salt Lake City!!!!! That way we can visit the whole way home! And get me Texas Roadhouse to eat on the way home! I am dying for some TR!

Two Emails, New Mission President

Email from 7/6/15

Mom,
Can you believe it has been 95 weeks of emails? That is a long freaking time!
That is sad that President Packer died! That is crazy that 2 went so fast together.
So that is good that you had fun at the reunion!
I am glad to hear that Jaxon and Bryson are getting to be themselves again. I am so excited to catch up with everyone!
So when will Sammy-boy be done with hunters ed? Hopefully before October cuz that's when all our hunting starts!
That is great Riss is feeling confident about going off to school!
Our week was pretty awesome! We were able to set 3 people on date to be baptized. Our district meeting went super well an Elder serving in Chinle gave a super good training on Charity. On the 4th we went and watched a baptism in Steamboat AZ, then came back and had a cookout/softball game. That was super awesome! Yesterday we had a great service then we went out and got some great work done!
We  haven't met Pres. Adams yet. we will on Thursday though so I guess I will let you know next week!
Well have a great week!
Love ya!

Email from 7/13/15

Mom,
This week has been good!
So 3 exciting things:
1. We met our new mission president. He seems really cool!
2. We had 12 lessons this week! We need to keep increasing but I think we can do it.
3. 1 MONTH!!!!!!!!!
That is crazy that the kids from Rissa's grade are leaving! You are getting old!
I want some TX Roadhouse so bad! That sounds so good!
That is super cool that dad got to go to the Batt's homecoming!
Well the district I am in is super cool so it makes it super fun to be the District Leader.
We (I) decided to have Elder Cornu drive from now on to try to help him learn the area better. And it has been super nice! I think I have driven every day since last March, and it is so nice to just relax in the passenger seat, haha!!
Well, sorry this is short but we are running to Chinle today, so we have to hurry!

New Companion

Mom,
This week has been pretty great!
Elder Cornu is my new comp's name and he is from Silverton, Oregon. He has been on his mission for 6 months.
Being DL is pretty good. I have a pretty cool district, so that makes things a lot easier! What did the letter from the Batts say?
Ok I will use that money for boxes! I wasnt quite sure what it was for, sorry!
That is crazy Jaxipoo is home! I am way excited to see him too! I really hope that we can have our old relationship back, too.
It is super awesome to hear that you all had a great time at the reunion!  I am so excited  to come home to do that kinda stuff!  That stream sounds really nice as it is pretty hot down here, too.
I did get that package. Thank you! I did get the bday package from gma and gpa, too. Tell them thank you too!
I need to get everyone's contact info here and in Many Farms because they are in my district now and I am going to go on exchanges over there and that way I will have them when I go home.
Love ya!

Counting Down the Days

Mom,
First item of business, 58 days? Where did you go to school? Minico? I only have 52 days left haha!
This week was really good! We had a lot of service with gardens and pulling weeds. And we have had a ton of good lessons, too.
That stinks that Sam got burnt so bad, but that pic that dad sent me of him sleeping on the computer is hilarious!
It sounds like Ris is liking her new job! That is good.
That is crazy everyone is coming home so soon! I can't wait to see Jeremy! I miss that guy so much!Is he still going to school to be a cop?
I told grandma  and grandpa to tell that guy to hold that job for me. It seems like a good deal to me.
Tell Aub good job on her Personal Progress as well!
What have you figured out about me coming home? I know I have already told you a million times but I think dad should come pick me up. If that isn't an option... and I mean like absolute last resort, then I have a request for you but we can talk about that next week. Let me know what the final say is, though.
Have extra fun at the reunion just for me! And give Jaxon a hug from me!
Love ya!

Good Week

Mom,
This week has been really good!
Monday we went out to this greener part of our area and had a barbecue. That was fun!
Tuesday we taught some new investigators who seem really solid. They are really awesome!
Wednesday we had interviews with president. That was cool and I got my recommend renewed! Then he trained on how the transition should go for the new mission president coming in. Then we said our good byes to them! They leave on the 29th.
Thursday we helped some people move then went out teaching the rest of the day.
Friday I can't remember for some reason!
Saturday we went out to teach people, but no one was home so we came back and got ready for another bbq .
Sunday we had some great meetings! We had lunch with the Grushes, then we went out teaching w/ our branch president. Then we came back and had dinner with another member of the branch presidency. We then went to see a couple more people then came home.
So that is our week in a nutshell.
What did grandpa need he as didn't email me?
Love ya!

Sick week

Mom,
This week has been Ok. The work was a little slow, but that is because Elder Manu and I were both kinda sick. I am still on and off fevers. And yes, I am taking something for it, so don't worry!
The tornado that I heard about was like 2.5 hours away from where we are.
That is awesome that Sam wants to get in shape! I will have to go running with him or something when I get home, so we both can stay in shape.
I am so jealous that dad and Sammit got to go riding! There is a YZF 450 that rides by the church here like once a day and every time I see it I just want to ride so bad!
That is awesome that Sam got 2 awards in school! Is he going to middle school next year!?!
I haven't really had the time to fill out the essays yet. I Will try to do that soon, though.
That is super cool that you finished paying for my mish!
MOM, YOU SHOULD REALLY SEND THAT UKULELE! I could learn so much with Elder M! It would be awesome!
Love ya!
Elder Cade
P.s. I still really think someone should come pick me up! It will save a ton of hassle on shipping things home so my luggage fits! And it will be quicker! And I think I have had revelation that that is what is supposed to happen, I had a dream about it twice the latest one being last night! Haha JK! But seriously!

Super Short and Getting Trunky

Mom,
This will be super short, sorry!
We did go to Gallup on Monday and then we went on exchanges that night and Elder Cook and I got to be companions again for about 24 hours! We had a great time reminiscing on the good ol' Many Farms/ Round Rock days! Yesterday, we were just so busy that we couldn't fit emailing in, so here we are tonight.
This and last week have been awesome! We have been gaining some major trust from members and investigators by helping with their gardens! It has been a ton of fun and very productive!
To answer your question, I bought those shoes in Cortez for $2. And they have been great Rez shoes! Those shoes and I have been through alot together! Well, again, I am sorry it is so short!
Love ya!
Have a great week!
Elder Cade

We also got Elder R's flight itinerary yesterday. He is set to fly into Twin Falls at 10:47 PM on August 12th. Up until this point, he was set to fly home, but knowing that he is going to get into TF so late, he is changing his tune and wants us to go pick him up to get home a few hours earlier! Ah, to think that your parents can drop everything on a dime....Anyways, a few emails between us later tonight, he just admits that he is getting anxious to get home! So are we! So are we.

Surprise Visitors!

Hey Mom!
So I will try to spell his name phonetically: Maunu/maulay/una. Does that help?
So we think that the snake was a blow snake. It creeped me out pretty good too! The thing tried killing me!
That is crazy y'all are getting so much rain! We are getting quite a bit, too. Yesterday, Gallup got so much that it killed the power in a good part of the city so we weren't able to get our oil changed. So we are gonna have to go in next week too. Its gonna be crazy!
Dang 2 more years with the burb, huh? What are ya gonna get after that? The Grush's have a new Traverse. Those things are nice! That would suit you well, I think.
That is crazy all the end of schoolyear things are wrapping up! Do you feel old having 2 kids graduated and one almost done with a mission!? Haha!
That is real crazy having all those homecomings coming up soon! Sister Logan said she wanted to come up to mine! We will see. I would love to see them all again! That would be awesome! Speaking of which, we had a super awesome visit yesterday with them! They are so awesome! They remembered Elder Manu, too, so we all had a great visit and while we were visiting, the Tellers drove by so, they flipped around and we all had a great ward reunion right there at the Pinon Junction!
Well, not much else exciting happened this week.
Love ya!

Snake Encounter

The people we are teaching are Awesome! They all are doing really well!
That is awesome that Jerry has such great ward support! I wish we had more member support down here! But we deal with what we get I guess!
Colty told me bout Ry's new Duramax. That is really cool!
Bishop Tureman huh? That is cool! He will be good for y'all!
Smoked meat sounds so good right now! Just meat in general is a treat! Haha!
We are still setting up Gardens We have quite a few to do on Wednesday.
When you only have one suit and the dry cleaner is 3 hours away in any direction it just doesn't get done! It is gross but that is life on the Rez, haha!
That snake that I sent y'all a picture of tried biting my leg off, I almost stepped on him! But a large rock took care of the problem, haha!
Elder Mabry is getting transferred tonight to Toadlena. I am getting Elder Manumaleuna! He served in Lukachukai while I was in Round Rock so I already know him pretty well. He super cool! I am really excited!
Well thats about all I have for ya this week!

Awesome week!

Mom,
Our week was awesome. We had an investigator pass her baptismal interview! The rest of our investigators are all doing good. The gardens are good and we spent a couple days helping out with those. I really like doing that! I get sick of a shirt and tie pretty easily!
For Skype... idk! We might not get to Skype this time. Internet out here is terrible, so we will see! I will call again, on the morning of.
It sounds like your week was pretty good. I am super excited to watch the Avengers movie!
  Our week was awesome!
Monday: We picked up 2 super awesome investigators that live with members.
Tuesday: We picked up 2 more really awesome investigators, and then had some really awesome lessons, one of which was with Virgie who is getting baptized this weekend.
Wednesday: We worked on gardens ALL day!
Thursday: We had a super good district meeting and then met some really awesome people that would like to get taught. Then had some more super awesome lessons!
Friday: We had a great lesson with this guy named Gilbert and his family. They are awesome! I wouldn't doubt it if they get baptized soon!
Saturday: We worked on gardens until we had to leave for stake conference, which was super awesome!
Sunday: We had stake conference, then interview for Virgie, then a great lesson with the 2 new investigators we picked up the Monday before, and we are going back to teach them again tonight!
So it was a pretty great week!
Hope your week will be just as good!
Love ya!

2 Weeks Worth of Emails

Email from 4/20:
Mom,
   This week was good!
We have these really awesome investigators named Virgie and Jodee and they are preparing pretty soon for Baptism! And yesterday we had scheduled an appointment with them for after church! But we couldn't find another male to go with us so we went out with the intentions of rescheduling. But when we got there they were determined to have a lesson so we set up some chairs out front in their little porch deal. Well right in the middle of the lesson, a little micro burst or something came through and was getting us soaking wet! So we asked if they would just want to finish it later but they again insisted that we finished our lesson! So that was like our highlight of the week!
On Saturday I broke a tooth eating lunch. I think I had cracked it long before hauling wood in Zuni so it was just like a ticking time bomb.
It sounds like yall had a pretty exciting week!
That is so cool that you went to Swan Lake for former Elder Kay's homecoming! He is awesome and I miss him!
Well, sorry to cut this short but I am out of time...
Love ya!
Elder Cade

Email from 4/27:
Mom,
Gallup was good! The Zone Conference was awesome! I learned a whole Butt-ton of good stuff. The dentist appt. wasn't too unpleasant. I hate dentists, but Bro Shaheen is a great guy! If I understood him correctly he is just going to bill the insurance for all that he can and then not charge us anything. But it will need a crown. I have a temporary one on right now and the real thing should be ready in a few weeks.
That bathroom looks awesome! Good job!
I just did write Noah a minute ago, so he will get it next week probably.
Your little dilemma was funny! Torn in so many ways..... How are you gonna get it all done?!
That is crazy Sam wanted to de junk! I thought he was a little pack rat.
Well, our week went really well! ZC pretty well took up the first half of the week. Then we were able to help the Grush's put in quite a few Gardens. There is a gardening project down here to try to help with some self reliance. Then we had some really awesome lessons! A few with Virgie and Jodee trying to get them ready for Baptism here in a couple of weeks. And then some others with really awesome families! Saturday I ran over a prairie dog. And then on Sunday we had like 10 people we have been working with come to church! So it was a really great week!
I hope you have a great week coming up!

Back to the Navajo Nation

Mom,
  Sorry about the wait!
I didnt see anyone too exciting during transfers except Elder Lewis from my MTC district. He was called to be the new AP. Elder Timoteo and Elder Gielman are in my new district!
We live in a trailer next to the church again! The senior couple here are Named the Grush's. They know the Whitesides that Grandpa worked for. They are dairy farmers from Malta and they are way awesome!
Elder Mabry is super cool! He is from Gaffney, South Carolina. He is 24 years old, but he has only been out for 6 months. He was Elder Van Ry's companion for a while, so that is cool we have something in common to talk about.
This area is pretty similar to Many Farms but it is actually like way deeper rez!
That would be so cool to see the Logans again! I saw the Tellers on Thursday, so that was way cool!
I did get my suit from Petersons. Thank you so much! It all fits good. The other slacks fit good still, so I hope I will be fine til I'm done!
Well our week was good. We started my first week here by being pallbearers, so that was an adventure!
The work seems to being pretty good! I am super excited to serve here as I missed and love the Navajo people!
In the 6 months I was away I lost a ton of my Dine Bizaad (navajo Language), but I am excited to pick it back up and learn some more! Elder Mabry got pretty sick one day and had to stay in so I spent a good chunk of time reviewing Navajo.
  So that is our week.
Sorry again my email was a day late. It might be like this pretty often as the internet here is sketchy!
Love ya!

Transfer News---Back to AZ!

Mom!
It is crazy that Elder Kay goes home this week! So weird! It feels like we were just comps like a month ago!
Well I am excited to go to Pinon, but sad to leave Zuni! It has been a lot of fun here, but I have been missing Navajo Land lately so I am undecided how I feel!
I did get the package on Friday, so thank you! Meet the Mormons is a great movie, I really like it!
So just to make sure you have it, my new address is:
PO Box 1152
Pinon, AZ 86510
I will be looking forward to getting a suit that isnt Rezzed out yet, haha!
That is way cool Spencer is coming to this mission! It will be good for someone to carry on the TF legacy after Elder Thompson and I leave! There has been someone from every class that has come here for 4 years now, haha!
I don't know what my favorite talk was, but Priesthood was by far my favorite session! We watched all the sessions at Our Branch Mission leaders house.
That is cool that you get to be the missionary mom again. Did you feel lost for a while haha!?
I was blown away that Riss was the first one awake! Usually she is the woman version of the Grinch !
I forgot my camera again today but I will send pics next week, I promise!!

Super Short Non-Informative Email

Ok thanks!
I'm running out of time so this is gonna be short! Sorry!
Our week started crazy slow! Like we only had 3 lessons by Thursday but at the end of the week we were able to take the branch president out with us and he showed us some super awesome people to go teach! We spent all day Friday helping one of those families move from one side of town to the next. We had a super awesome Sunday where we were able to see a less active couple we haven't seen in a long time where we had a super good discussion about the atonement! I am glad that all y'alls week went good! There was a lot of awesome news this week that was fun to read!
Have a great week!
Love ya!

On the up side, we got to meet Elder Loveless' family and had dinner with them! We are excited that our boys are companions and get to serve together! The Loveless' are AWESOME!

Spring break talk

Ma,
That is a hilarious pic, haha! She does look like she is losing some weight! Good for her!
So I think you think I speak like perfect Navajo but that is not the case. I can understand it alot better than I can actually speak it! Zunis do speak Zuni. But I know very little. It is hard to keep the 2 separated in my mind so I haven't picked up too much Zuni at all!
That sounds like a super boring spring break!
I hope I won't be ride bumming for too long! I can't wait to just do my own thing sometimes!
Our week went really well. We had a good # of lessons and we were able to find a new investigator too! Plus exchanges in Navajo land, and interviews with President Batt. It was just an awesome week!
Well I hope y'all have an awesome spring break week!
Love ya!

Mom!
That is awesome that Caden got baptized! The Logan's are so awesome! I haven't heard from them in a while but I can't wait to catch up with them!
I can't believe that Jake is home already! Tell him to email me. He owes me! I wrote him like 2 letters and emailed him a time or 2.
That is really exciting that Riss's schooling is coming together.
I can't believe that spring break is already here! Time is going by way too fast!
So... as for the Schroedter family... tell them to call President Batt and ask him if that is ok, then if he okays it our services start at 10ish and the chuch is at 11 Paywa Drive, Zuni NM 87327. It would be cool to see them but I want to make sure it is alright with President first!
Our week was pretty good! We had 13 lessons. The people we teach are awesome, I just wish they got the big picture in why we are there teaching them!
I had some pics but I forgot my camera so maybe later I will send them.
Love ya!

A sweet Sister Griner from Grants NM was so kind as to send us a picture of Elders Robinson and Loveless yesterday from church! We were excited to see them!!

Tragic Story

Mom!
Our week was good! We did come really close to meeting our goal this week which was a huge blessing for us!
Crazy story for the week! We ran into the Potters (senior couple in Many Farms) and I was trying to catch up on every one there, and they were like, "Oh, do you remember Bobby and Bo?" And I was like, "Of course!"  They were my gangster investigators who came close to baptism but luckily never did get baptized. They were like, "Oh.. well Bo died"! I guess they got drunk and got in a fight and Bobby stabbed Bo to death! But Bo had stabbed Bobby before but I guess it was just like a tragic deal for them over there! So Bobby is in prison and Bo is dead!
That is cool that Riss got a good look at Provo! I think she will like it down there!
That stinks that all your rides died haha! Hopefully dad can get em back going good!
Sam did seem pretty excited that he got a long board! Have him show you his email from me. I had a couple of ideas for him.
Well, to tell you the truth... I got a call from Pres. Batt a month or 2 ago and I guess on record my release date was Sept. 9, which is when I entered the field, but the rest of my group goes on Aug. 12 and he asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I didn't care. Either way was fine by me! So he told me to make transfers, easier that he was sending me home in August, so August 12 is the day I guess!
So I guess on that note.. have a great  week!
Love ya!

Zuni Traditional Wear

Mom,
It is crazy how fast time is flying!  That is awesome y'all had a regional conference!
They switched up our branch presidency a little yesterday. I think it will be a good change.
That is nice that Lexi's Reception went well! Did you do the flowers for it?
That is a bummer Sam had strep. It does seem like he is always sick!
That is awesome Riss is doing cosmetology school in Provo, haha! I told her she will be married in no time down there!
We weren't doing service in slacks. I don't actually know when it happenend or how. I will get that pic of the tag to you later tonight.
This week was a little better than last week! We were able to catch quite a few people we haven't for a while. It was nice!
Our sewer got backed up on Thursday, probably by some tree roots, so we have been running to the church to go to the bathroom!  And we have showered once since Friday! That has been real exciting!
We had some fun trying on the Zuni traditional stuff! The people who let us are recent converts and they are just fun all the time!
Well we are headed into Gallup in a few minutes, so I will talk to you later!
Love ya!

Staying in Zuni!

Email from 2/16/15:
Mom,
It does sound like your week was exciting!
That is crazy that Sam might have appendicitis! Did you watch Talodega Knights with him while he was on drugs too? That was hilarious!
The new stake presidency sounds interesting but I am sure they will do a great job! When is Bishop Mix planning on being released?
Dad is getting old! That is funny sister Loveless called you! That would have been cool if we flew home together... but i am extending, Muhaha!
The package I sent was a couple manilla envelopes with the Clayton's mail. I am going to send another one off soon. I didn't get your package yet, probably tomorrow. The only V-day package I got was from Aunt Tresa and Uncle Joel. Haha! I told them they have earned bragging rights cuz they were the first and only V-day package I got!
Our week went well. We finally got back up into double digit lessons! So I am planning on taking that and using it to sling shot us to our 20 lesson week. Hopefully soon!
It feels weird to have 3/4s of my mission past! I guess I better just keep working hard and harder!
Love ya!
Elder Cade

Email from 2/23/15
Mom,
Couple of q's before I forget. 1. If I send you the G bottoms back that you sent me for my bday could you exchange them for another kind? 2. I ripped one of my suit pants right in the butt, could I send those to you as well and have Petersons repair them?
That is so awesome that you had a great time in AZ! I hope you had a blast with the Logans! They are so stinking awesome! I can't wait to go visit them!
Well, my email this week is gonna be pretty short because almost nothing happened all week! We went out and worked our butts off (that is why there is a hole in my suit pant butt now) (Jk), but no one was home or they didn't have time or another of a million excuses we heard. So we are in the process of deciding who we need to drop, who we need to give ultimatums to, and how we are going to find new promising people. So that is going to be our mission the next few weeks! Wish us luck!
Love ya!

Beautiful Hiking Pictures and Horse?

Last week's email:
Hey Mom
Thanks for the Super Bowl party pics!
That is legit Aub got a job!
That is hilarious Sam talked Dad into going on his ski trip! Tell him not to hurt himself this time!
That is funny that everyone is getting new puppies!
Probably the coolest experience that we had this week was finding 2 new investigators through a member couple that we have gotten super close too! It is the wife's sister and her husband, he just spent some time in jail and some how got a hold of a Book of Mormon and has been hooked on it! So he has already committed to baptism, the trick is going to be to get them to church!
We have been lacking on lessons lately but it will pick up here real soon!
Sorry this is short but I am just done!
Love ya!

This week's email:
Mom,
I am running outta time so I will keep this short!
That is super awesome Noah got his call! Tell him I said so, too!
I laughed pretty hard thinking 'bout Sis Cook and Sis Bernhisel's conversations, hah!
I jealous that some of ya went to agri action! Not so much 'bout the funeral, though I have been to way too many of those on my mission!
Our week has been good. We had to go to Gallup because we had a pebble stuck in our brake and we saw that we picked up a bolt in our tire, so we had them patch that too!
We have been blessed with new people to teach, though the efforts of the members working with us it has been really awesome! I have loved it!
This week is going to be great I can feel it!
I hope y'alls week is great too!
Love ya!

Happy 20th Birthday!

Thank you for the Birthday wishes! Our Branch President and his wife are gonna take us out to the one resturant in Zuni on Wednesday so that will be good!
That is sad that Pres. Hansen is getting released.
That is super cool about your co worker going to the temple, though!
That is good to hear about the Hope's babies, but that is terrible about Brother Spaulding!
That is cool that that Elder is from Bluewater! That is in our zone! The Elders serving there are super cool!
That would be cool for Riss and Chels to get an appt. together. That would be good for the 2 of them to move away from home and do a little growing up.
I hope Aub gets that job! That would be good for her too!
Our week was kinda slow, but we have high hopes for this week!
The pics are our Axes, us holding our axes, and a picture I drew of Elder Loveless and his future Wifey in front of the temple! Haha! He didn't like that so much haha!
Anyways, love ya!
Thank you!

New Companion

Our week was ok. It was kinda slow. Elder Loveless is cool! It looks like Aub had a lot of fun at her party!
That is cool that y'all are thinking of doing a more service related Christmas Eve Party!
Elder Loveless and I are pretty sure y'all and his family need to take us to Jackpot the night we get home. I haven't had seafood for like 18 months now!
That is good that Dad is getting good at speaking now!
I hope you enjoy the pictures!
I am really looking forward to that info that you sent. I talked to a guy in Gallup who is a bio-medical engineer and he has nothing but good things to say about it, so we will see!
Well I am outta things to say!
Love ya!

P.s. Are ya gonna send me a slump day(18 mo.) Package too?

Transfer News, or Lack Thereof

Mom,
I am staying in Zuni! Elder T is going to Steamboat, AZ. I got released as DL and my new comp's name is Elder Loveless and he is from Buhl, haha!
That is crazy that the new Sister knew Elder Holyoak! And that is super crazy that Hancock is already home! I am not next! I still have 8 months left!
That is cool you had that fog and that is a bummer that dad's truck got hit, though!

All I know about the new Mission Pres. is that he is from Logan and that he was a contractor.

That stinks that you aren't getting released, yet. Pres Batt called me Sat morning about 8:30 to release me, but I was asleep still cuz I think I have caught the flu, so I thought I was in trouble, but he just apologized because he had the same bug and he said it was a killer!

Those pics are pretty cute that Ris sent. That is crazy Ris is done with high school so soon!

That is freaking hilarious that those old people were dealing down the street! I can't believe that!

Well have a great week! Love ya!

P.S. I forgot to buy that converter deal but I will be in town tomorrow so I will grab it then.

P.P.S. What is my account balance?

Let It Snow

Mom,
The package did get here pretty good! Thank you!!!!! I lost my cord to my camera, so no pictures today! I will buy an sd card to usb drive adapter today. We are headed into town after this.
It sounds like y'all had a great week! That is great! Ours was ok. We had 4 inches of snow New Year's Day! I almost delayed district meeting because the Fort Wingate Elders had that huge drive that morning but the snow was still really dry because it was super cold so I just told them to be safe and they made it just fine. Then I had exchanges with Elder Sierant Thursday ( Elder Sobczak's companion). That was fun! Well, this next week is Zone conference along with ZL exchanges and transfers at the end of the week.
Well I am fresh out of things to say!
Love ya!
