1 Week!!!!!

Email from 7/27
Hey Mom,
This week was good! We had a great time at Zone Conference! We learned a lot. I had to give my departing testimony, though, and that was scary! One: because there were a lot of people there and two: because that was my last zone conference!
That is crazy that Sam is turning 11 in a couple days! You are getting old!
That is awesome that Hancock will be back up there!
Are you lost right now... now that you aren't always busy with RS stuff? Haha! That is good though. Now y'all can move out to the country. And I will farm for you!
I am desperately needing the toothpaste! I am on the last little squeeze and I am broke so I can't go buy regular stuff.
Exciting story for the week: We had 9 investigators come to church! 2 of them are getting baptized in a little less than 2 weeks! Super Duper excited!
Well, hope y'all have a great week!
Love ya!

P.S. We are in the Sub-20 days!
P.P.S. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I am going to be short and sweet this week. You know me, always thinking ahead!
Monday was good. Taught the kids that are going to be baptized.
Tuesday, lots of service and lots of teaching!
Wednesday, I was a pallbearer and dedicated a grave for a funeral.
Thursday, had my last district meeting and then Jo Dee And Kodi got interviewed for their baptism and passed!
Friday, more service and we killed 3 rattlers!
Saturday, more service and caught this beautiful creature called a horny toad.
Sunday, had 12 investigators come to church!! And taught 13 lessons over all this week!
Have a nice week! See ya next week!

Mom,
This week went well! We didn't quite meet our lessons goal, but it was a busy week. We had a zone training, I went on exchanges to Many Farms, plus all our service hours.
Exciting little tidbit for the week: we went over to Virgie Tom's, the one who got baptized right before Mother's Day, and we asked her kids if they knew if they both wanted to be baptized yet and they said they did, but is was almost like "We have been waiting for you to ask!" So I am super excited about that! Well, it sounds like your week went well!
I was so excited to go to Many Farms! That was a blast!! I saw the Harveys! They have been through some rough times this last year, but they are just staying strong. Then I was able to go to their correlation meeting, and those elders are doing really well, especially since they have both been out less than 4 months!
So funny story: The 2nd counselor in our branch presidency has diabetes... well, the Priesthood lesson got dumped on him in the middle of Sunday School, but his pump was acting up, so he told me he was gonna run home and get it figured out so if I could just start the lesson then he would come finish it... Well, long story short, I ended up teaching the whole lesson and it was on marriage and I was like "What the heck! I dont know what to teach about on this!" so we just read out of the manual the whole time, haha!
I hate  snakes!!!! So we made sure to kill this one!
Well have a great week! Love ya!

PS: Mom, PLEASE come pick me up in Salt Lake City!!!!! That way we can visit the whole way home! And get me Texas Roadhouse to eat on the way home! I am dying for some TR!

Two Emails, New Mission President

Email from 7/6/15

Mom,
Can you believe it has been 95 weeks of emails? That is a long freaking time!
That is sad that President Packer died! That is crazy that 2 went so fast together.
So that is good that you had fun at the reunion!
I am glad to hear that Jaxon and Bryson are getting to be themselves again. I am so excited to catch up with everyone!
So when will Sammy-boy be done with hunters ed? Hopefully before October cuz that's when all our hunting starts!
That is great Riss is feeling confident about going off to school!
Our week was pretty awesome! We were able to set 3 people on date to be baptized. Our district meeting went super well an Elder serving in Chinle gave a super good training on Charity. On the 4th we went and watched a baptism in Steamboat AZ, then came back and had a cookout/softball game. That was super awesome! Yesterday we had a great service then we went out and got some great work done!
We  haven't met Pres. Adams yet. we will on Thursday though so I guess I will let you know next week!
Well have a great week!
Love ya!

Mom,
This week has been good!
So 3 exciting things:
1. We met our new mission president. He seems really cool!
2. We had 12 lessons this week! We need to keep increasing but I think we can do it.
3. 1 MONTH!!!!!!!!!
That is crazy that the kids from Rissa's grade are leaving! You are getting old!
I want some TX Roadhouse so bad! That sounds so good!
That is super cool that dad got to go to the Batt's homecoming!
Well the district I am in is super cool so it makes it super fun to be the District Leader.
We (I) decided to have Elder Cornu drive from now on to try to help him learn the area better. And it has been super nice! I think I have driven every day since last March, and it is so nice to just relax in the passenger seat, haha!!
Well, sorry this is short but we are running to Chinle today, so we have to hurry!

New Companion

Mom,
This week has been pretty great!
Elder Cornu is my new comp's name and he is from Silverton, Oregon. He has been on his mission for 6 months.
Being DL is pretty good. I have a pretty cool district, so that makes things a lot easier! What did the letter from the Batts say?
Ok I will use that money for boxes! I wasnt quite sure what it was for, sorry!
That is crazy Jaxipoo is home! I am way excited to see him too! I really hope that we can have our old relationship back, too.
It is super awesome to hear that you all had a great time at the reunion!  I am so excited  to come home to do that kinda stuff!  That stream sounds really nice as it is pretty hot down here, too.
I did get that package. Thank you! I did get the bday package from gma and gpa, too. Tell them thank you too!
I need to get everyone's contact info here and in Many Farms because they are in my district now and I am going to go on exchanges over there and that way I will have them when I go home.
Love ya!

Counting Down the Days

Mom,
First item of business, 58 days? Where did you go to school? Minico? I only have 52 days left haha!
This week was really good! We had a lot of service with gardens and pulling weeds. And we have had a ton of good lessons, too.
That stinks that Sam got burnt so bad, but that pic that dad sent me of him sleeping on the computer is hilarious!
It sounds like Ris is liking her new job! That is good.
That is crazy everyone is coming home so soon! I can't wait to see Jeremy! I miss that guy so much!Is he still going to school to be a cop?
I told grandma  and grandpa to tell that guy to hold that job for me. It seems like a good deal to me.
Tell Aub good job on her Personal Progress as well!
What have you figured out about me coming home? I know I have already told you a million times but I think dad should come pick me up. If that isn't an option... and I mean like absolute last resort, then I have a request for you but we can talk about that next week. Let me know what the final say is, though.
Have extra fun at the reunion just for me! And give Jaxon a hug from me!
Love ya!

Good Week

Mom,
This week has been really good!
Monday we went out to this greener part of our area and had a barbecue. That was fun!
Tuesday we taught some new investigators who seem really solid. They are really awesome!
Wednesday we had interviews with president. That was cool and I got my recommend renewed! Then he trained on how the transition should go for the new mission president coming in. Then we said our good byes to them! They leave on the 29th.
Thursday we helped some people move then went out teaching the rest of the day.
Friday I can't remember for some reason!
Saturday we went out to teach people, but no one was home so we came back and got ready for another bbq .
Sunday we had some great meetings! We had lunch with the Grushes, then we went out teaching w/ our branch president. Then we came back and had dinner with another member of the branch presidency. We then went to see a couple more people then came home.
So that is our week in a nutshell.
What did grandpa need he as didn't email me?
Love ya!

Sick week

Mom,
This week has been Ok. The work was a little slow, but that is because Elder Manu and I were both kinda sick. I am still on and off fevers. And yes, I am taking something for it, so don't worry!
The tornado that I heard about was like 2.5 hours away from where we are.
That is awesome that Sam wants to get in shape! I will have to go running with him or something when I get home, so we both can stay in shape.
I am so jealous that dad and Sammit got to go riding! There is a YZF 450 that rides by the church here like once a day and every time I see it I just want to ride so bad!
That is awesome that Sam got 2 awards in school! Is he going to middle school next year!?!
I haven't really had the time to fill out the essays yet. I Will try to do that soon, though.
That is super cool that you finished paying for my mish!
MOM, YOU SHOULD REALLY SEND THAT UKULELE! I could learn so much with Elder M! It would be awesome!
Love ya!
Elder Cade
P.s. I still really think someone should come pick me up! It will save a ton of hassle on shipping things home so my luggage fits! And it will be quicker! And I think I have had revelation that that is what is supposed to happen, I had a dream about it twice the latest one being last night! Haha JK! But seriously!
