2 Weeks Worth of Emails

Email from 4/20:
Mom,
   This week was good!
We have these really awesome investigators named Virgie and Jodee and they are preparing pretty soon for Baptism! And yesterday we had scheduled an appointment with them for after church! But we couldn't find another male to go with us so we went out with the intentions of rescheduling. But when we got there they were determined to have a lesson so we set up some chairs out front in their little porch deal. Well right in the middle of the lesson, a little micro burst or something came through and was getting us soaking wet! So we asked if they would just want to finish it later but they again insisted that we finished our lesson! So that was like our highlight of the week!
On Saturday I broke a tooth eating lunch. I think I had cracked it long before hauling wood in Zuni so it was just like a ticking time bomb.
It sounds like yall had a pretty exciting week!
That is so cool that you went to Swan Lake for former Elder Kay's homecoming! He is awesome and I miss him!
Well, sorry to cut this short but I am out of time...
Love ya!

Email from 4/27:
Mom,
Gallup was good! The Zone Conference was awesome! I learned a whole Butt-ton of good stuff. The dentist appt. wasn't too unpleasant. I hate dentists, but Bro Shaheen is a great guy! If I understood him correctly he is just going to bill the insurance for all that he can and then not charge us anything. But it will need a crown. I have a temporary one on right now and the real thing should be ready in a few weeks.
That bathroom looks awesome! Good job!
I just did write Noah a minute ago, so he will get it next week probably.
Your little dilemma was funny! Torn in so many ways..... How are you gonna get it all done?!
That is crazy Sam wanted to de junk! I thought he was a little pack rat.
Well, our week went really well! ZC pretty well took up the first half of the week. Then we were able to help the Grush's put in quite a few Gardens. There is a gardening project down here to try to help with some self reliance. Then we had some really awesome lessons! A few with Virgie and Jodee trying to get them ready for Baptism here in a couple of weeks. And then some others with really awesome families! Saturday I ran over a prairie dog. And then on Sunday we had like 10 people we have been working with come to church! So it was a really great week!
I hope you have a great week coming up!
Love ya!

Back to the Navajo Nation

Mom,
  Sorry about the wait!
I didnt see anyone too exciting during transfers except Elder Lewis from my MTC district. He was called to be the new AP. Elder Timoteo and Elder Gielman are in my new district!
We live in a trailer next to the church again! The senior couple here are Named the Grush's. They know the Whitesides that Grandpa worked for. They are dairy farmers from Malta and they are way awesome!
Elder Mabry is super cool! He is from Gaffney, South Carolina. He is 24 years old, but he has only been out for 6 months. He was Elder Van Ry's companion for a while, so that is cool we have something in common to talk about.
This area is pretty similar to Many Farms but it is actually like way deeper rez!
That would be so cool to see the Logans again! I saw the Tellers on Thursday, so that was way cool!
I did get my suit from Petersons. Thank you so much! It all fits good. The other slacks fit good still, so I hope I will be fine til I'm done!
Well our week was good. We started my first week here by being pallbearers, so that was an adventure!
The work seems to being pretty good! I am super excited to serve here as I missed and love the Navajo people!
In the 6 months I was away I lost a ton of my Dine Bizaad (navajo Language), but I am excited to pick it back up and learn some more! Elder Mabry got pretty sick one day and had to stay in so I spent a good chunk of time reviewing Navajo.
  So that is our week.
Sorry again my email was a day late. It might be like this pretty often as the internet here is sketchy!
Love ya!

Transfer News---Back to AZ!

Mom!
It is crazy that Elder Kay goes home this week! So weird! It feels like we were just comps like a month ago!
Well I am excited to go to Pinon, but sad to leave Zuni! It has been a lot of fun here, but I have been missing Navajo Land lately so I am undecided how I feel!
I did get the package on Friday, so thank you! Meet the Mormons is a great movie, I really like it!
So just to make sure you have it, my new address is:
PO Box 1152
Pinon, AZ 86510
I will be looking forward to getting a suit that isnt Rezzed out yet, haha!
That is way cool Spencer is coming to this mission! It will be good for someone to carry on the TF legacy after Elder Thompson and I leave! There has been someone from every class that has come here for 4 years now, haha!
I don't know what my favorite talk was, but Priesthood was by far my favorite session! We watched all the sessions at Our Branch Mission leaders house.
That is cool that you get to be the missionary mom again. Did you feel lost for a while haha!?
I was blown away that Riss was the first one awake! Usually she is the woman version of the Grinch !
I forgot my camera again today but I will send pics next week, I promise!!
Love ya!

Super Short Non-Informative Email

Ok thanks!
I'm running out of time so this is gonna be short! Sorry!
Our week started crazy slow! Like we only had 3 lessons by Thursday but at the end of the week we were able to take the branch president out with us and he showed us some super awesome people to go teach! We spent all day Friday helping one of those families move from one side of town to the next. We had a super awesome Sunday where we were able to see a less active couple we haven't seen in a long time where we had a super good discussion about the atonement! I am glad that all y'alls week went good! There was a lot of awesome news this week that was fun to read!
Have a great week!
Love ya!

On the up side, we got to meet Elder Loveless' family and had dinner with them! We are excited that our boys are companions and get to serve together! The Loveless' are AWESOME!
